Important Notes
How do I start translating?
- Click the “Edit This Page” button
that will appear at the top of the page
- Item ID: This column represents the technical ID name for each text item. These are used for internal dev purposes and should not be edited or translated themselves.
- RESOURCE_ID: This row is used for internal dev purposes and should not be edited or translated.
- Placeholders: Whenever you see the 'percent' character ('%') it means there's a placeholder in the text. This means that DAP replaces that placeholder with other text. For example, '%1', '%d', '%date', '<SiteName>', '<a>', '@yr@', etc. are all placeholders that will be replaced with other text such as time of day, connection retries left, folder name, etc..
- Names: There is no need to translate names such as DAP, DAP Premium, DAPsters, Link Checker or AlwaysResume.
- Community work & team effort: Many users can contribute to a single translation in any given time. Use the easy built-in wiki tools to compare, modify & publish your translations. you can leave notes and comments to other translators, or confer with them in the discussion area below.

I fixed some New Norwegian/Dialect errors, and added some more text on this part.

Once you see your translation on the actual DAP screens, you may want to make some changes - shorten, adjust or edit your text. Please do so on Wiki templates Section 1 and Section 2.

In MENU tools, there are missing a line for translating “Language”
“Languages” is left untranslated on purpose. That way, if someone changed languages by mistake, he can easily switch back.
btw- I uploaded a new testing version with the latest corrections/additions - try it out!

I have 1 ? i see that there are some & in some lines should thay be typed in the translation to ?
The ”&” indicates the keyboard shortcut key. For example, ”&File” means that clicking Alt+F will open the File menu. So if you do not include them, the shortcut keys won't work. If you do include them, you don't necessarily have to place them in the same relative spot as in the English version. You should probably place them where it makes sense in your language. Just make sure to use each letter only once.
