How It Works

SpeedBit MAV Analysis constantly tests an extensive database of downloaded files, with several of the leading antivirus applications. When you download a file, the most recent test results are displayed, and you are issued a specific security report on your file.

The security analysis summary informs you of the category of your file, and provides you with a recommendation of how to proceed. You will receive one of the following reports:

Trusted This file has been tested by leading antivirus programs and no threat has been detected. You can open this file.
Potentially Unwanted This file has been tested by leading antivirus programs and it is possibly a malicious file and a threat. Open this file only if you're certain that it is safe, or if it comes from a trusted source.
High Risk This file has been tested by leading antivirus programs and it is likely a malicious file and a threat. We recommend that you do not open this file and that you delete it from your system.
Unknown The SpeedBit MAV Analysis has tested tens of thousands of files, but the file you have downloaded has not been tested yet.
N/A This file type is not currently tested by SpeedBit MAV Analysis.
High Risk Website This website has been tested by leading security programs and it contains links to potentially malicious sites or files. Download from this website with caution.
