We are currently testing a beta version of the
Download Accelerator Plus. The new version has better acceleration
capabilities as well as scheduling, and support resuming for
none-resumeable servers.
We would be pleased if you,would take part in this test by downloading
and using the NEW Download Accelerator Plus 4 Beta.
There is NO need to uninstall previous DAP version in order
to install this on,just install it over your current DAP (in
the same directory)

This new feature will put an end to slow and weak servers
that does not support resume,
When you download from a server that does not support
resume - a pop up message will appear, asking you
what to do next - if you choose always resume,the file
will be delivered to you with resume support.

From now on you can program DAP to download your files
in a specific date and time. Once or on daily basis.
After download is complete DAP can disconnect, close itself
and shut down the computer.
Planning downloads was never easier.

Local Mirror Search
|
DAP can focus it's mirror search locally thus choosing
the servers that are in your local area speeding your
downloads further - all you have to do is define your
country In Options/Configurations under connection options(mirror
search)

Clipboard Monitoring
|
DAP can monitor your clipboard
action for faster access to URLs when you reach the URL
you want to download from copy the URL from the address
bar (CTRL+C) and the monitor pops up enabling you to add
the URL directly to DAP and start your Download. This is
done by enabling clipboard monitoring in Options/Configurations
in general options. |

PASV Mode
|
If you're working behind firewall
you can have DAP using ftp in Passive mode for more convenient
workflow with FTP's, to do so just check PASV mode in Options/Configurations
under firewall options. |

New Search Capabilities

Some new features were added to
the search options -
search for new releases of programs games or mp3 and the
search for games. |

Acceleration Mode
|
From now on DAP can be customized according to your connection:
in Options/Configurations under connection options you
have to define your connection ,below you can choose the
Acceleration mode according to your connection speed (the
one you defined before)

New Automation Features
|
You can have DAP close itself
and automatically shutdown after the download is completed. |

Dial Up
|
Under Options/Configurations you
can define your dial up connection (the username and password)
and have DAP connect automatically for you to the Internet
(This very useful when using the scheduler) |
