End of Download Response

You may configure DAP to notify you about the completion of a download, to update the list of files in the queue and to disconnect after completing the downloads.

  1. In DAP's main window, select the 'Tools' tab and choose 'Options'. DAP's configuration page will appear.
  2. On the configuration page, choose 'Download Completion' to display the 'Download Completion' options.
  3. To display a download complete message: Check the 'Show Download Completed Dialog' box.
  4. To remove a downloaded item from your list: Check the 'Remove From The List' box.
  5. To check your files for viruses: Check the 'Check For Viruses' box. (you must have an antivirus program installed). DAP 8.5 now includes download security checks (powered by ZoneAlarm), that automatically checks all your file sources, and warns you of malicious files and programs.
  6. DAP enables Premium users to test downloaded zip files after downloading them. If you are a Premium user and wish to do so, check this option in the 'Download Completion' section.
  7. Check 'Disconnect from the Internet' option to automatically disconnect from the internet after your download is complete.
  8. Check 'Close DAP' to completely close DAP after your download is complete.
  9. To shutdown your computer after download has finished: Check 'Shutdown computer with action'. You can choose whether you want to shut down, restart or log off.
